Urge Him or Her to Vote for the Federal Marriage Amendment

Please call your representative in Congress at their Washington Office and urge them to support the Federal Marriage Amendment to the Constitution coming up for a vote on September 30th. This is the most important thing you can do between now and Thursday to help pass this vital amendment.

Most representatives have a phone system that allows you to leave them a message so when their office is closed so you can call any time. During office hours, you will probably be connected to a staff person who is designated to take messages from constituents and pass them on to the representative.

When you call, we suggest you make the following points:

Preserving marriage is essential to passing on a healthy and strong society to our children;
You are convinced that a constitutional amendment is the only way we can protect marriage in the United States from being radically redefined by activist federal judges; and
