Please Tell President Bush You
Support His Defense Of Marriage! (And forward this on to others and urge them to do the same!)
Dear Reader;
President George Bush's statement at his press conference on July 30th that he supported codifying marriage in the United States as
being defined as the union of a man and woman was a critical development in our fight to defend marriage and the natural family in
the United States. The President can help defeat the effort to legalize same sex marriage more effectively than any other political
figure in the country.
Specifically, the President said "I believe a marriage is between a man and a woman. And I think we ought to codify that one way or
the other. And we've got lawyers looking at the best way to do that." (We have posted the transcript of the question and his complete
response on our Web site here.)
Of course, homosexual activists, their numerous allies and many in the media immediately attacked the President. That is why it is
important for all of us who support marriage and the natural family to let President Bush know that we appreciate the stand he has
taken and that we support his efforts to protect the sacred union of marriage.
There are several ways to communicate your support to the President. A short note in your own words is the most effective, but phone
calls to the White House comment line, faxes and e-mails are also effective.
